How Can You Recognize If You Did Well on the First Date

If you're uncertain of what happened at your first date, you need somebody to help you figure it out. Talking to her. Try to remember each moment when you were talking with her. Who spoke more, you did or she? If she talked more that’s a sign she was feeling comfy and talkative. If you talked more, was she looking in your eyes, was she smiling, laughing? If not that’s a minus. If you interviewed her, did she respond easily, or did she frown, give you a strange look as if it’s a cliché, typical or boring question? Did she want to find out more about you? If she starts asking you questions that’s an indicator of interest. Did any uncomfortable silent moments take place during the conversation? You should avoid such moments as much as you can. If you don't know what to say, try to look around see if there’s anything in sight you could talk of.

Her body language. How was she moving her hands, was she still, or were her hands restless? If she was waving a lot, that’s a good sign, it means she wants to tell you more. If she was playing with her hair while talking with you, that’s another good sign. A bad sign is when she doesn't move with her arms closed; she’s probably bored or feeling uneasy. If you tried to relax her with a good joke, that’s a great way to make her feel more comfortable. Was she moving towards you while speaking, or was she leaning back and just nodding her head to everything you we’re saying? Leaning in to you is a sign of interest.

Touching phase. How did she respond when you touched her? If you tried not to touch her at all as if she’s a glass statue, that’s a minus. If you touched her hand and she responded well, that’s a good sign. Did you try to kiss her, if so, how did she react? You don’t have to kiss her the first date but sometimes it’s OK to let her know you want to kiss her, so if you tried and she rejected you, most of the time it's not a bad sign, it just means she's not prepared for a kiss yet.
