A mere bike drive can be at times a very gratifying experience. You experience waves of thrill and passion, and you go on speeding up while your adrenaline levels grow more and more. But a risk-free motorcycle ride requires skill. When we become skilled it makes us feel happy and glorious and we’re eager to be the best. That’s the primary ground to why we ride motorbikes. That’s also the cause to why we sometimes risk it too much and that satisfying experience turns into a motorbike crash. In the following paragraphs I’m going to talk about preventing motorbike crashes while maintaining the thrill and passion to the upper limit.
First, check your bike before you drive it. I presume you take good care of it; it's your baby, besides your lady. Control your lights, your mirrors, horn, signals, oil, fuel, controls and don’t forget the tires. Gear-up your armor and headgear and prepare to ride.
Motorcyclists get into accidents too often because they lose command of their motorcycle. Loss of control happens primarily due to ground surface conditions and shunts. But if you give plenty of room between you and the automobiles in front and behind, shunts will be avoided. With surface condition it’s different, because sometimes you can notice the mud or oil spills from the road and sometimes you can't. However, you have hints for some of these. If there are lorries on the route there might be diesel leaks, if you see building grounds there might be mud. Driving in rainy conditions is difficult enough so you better have your tires on a good pressure level or you might become a hot youtube motorbike crashes superstar.
Overtaking is another challenge for any rider; you require the skill to estimate distance and speed while utilizing a bike that you’re used to. With a different motorbike you have to take time to learn the way it responds to breaking and accelerating in different gears. Try to avoid passing other automobiles when you're close to joints, pedestrian crossings and bends. For every overtake you need to see everything around you so don’t assume anything. Be cautious when riding on country roads. You most likely did your training on a town route. Some bends become more tight more than you'd expect so slow down before the turn.
Send signals to the other drivers and avert blind spots. A
motorbike crash can easily happen only because a motor-truck driver didn’t see you. Use visible dressing and a headlamp. Motorbike driving is a dangerous sport and you have to put some effort if you want a secure drive. No pain no gain. But as long as you do it, you’ll get the enjoyment of driving at minimum risk with zero
motorbike crashes.
